Refund Policy

The Short Version

HotCrate's Free plan is free forever. Pro is a paid subscription. We want you on Pro because it's worth it, not because you forgot to cancel, so we keep refunds fair and simple.

14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

If you upgrade to Pro and it's not for you, email us within 14 days of your first Pro payment and we'll refund it in full, no questions asked.

Canceling Pro

You can cancel anytime from your account. When you cancel, you keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for, and you're not charged again. We don't automatically refund the unused part of a period you chose to cancel partway through.

Accidental Renewals

Meant to cancel and got charged for another period? Reach out soon after the renewal and we'll refund that charge. We'd rather you stay because HotCrate is useful to you.

How to Request a Refund

Email us through our contact page with the email address on your account so we can find your subscription.

How Refunds Are Processed

Payments and refunds are handled by Stripe, our payment provider and Merchant of Record. Refunds go back to your original payment method and may appear on your statement as Stripe or Link. Please allow a few business days for the refund to show up.

After the 14-Day Window

Past 14 days, refunds outside of the cases above are granted at our discretion. Reach out and we'll do our best to be fair.
