A few useful details
How much inventory is included?
Free includes 200 items and bundles; Rentals includes 3,000. Each stored item or bundle counts once, including private, unlisted, and archived ones, whatever the quantity.
How do customers contact me?
Your Free Rate Card includes a contact link. With Rentals, customers can also send an inquiry from your catalog, at no cost to them. HotCrate emails you each new inquiry.
Are photos included?
Free Rate Cards use text. Photos and attachments are part of Rentals once your account is verified, or with beta access that includes them.
How do rental payments work?
Connect your own Stripe account or record payments received another way. Processor fees are separate from your HotCrate subscription.
What happens if Rentals access ends?
You keep your history, inventory text, data exports, and published Rate Card, and can finish rentals already confirmed. New rentals need Rentals access.
Can I work with other businesses?
Private groups let invited businesses share a catalog, and each owner manages a separate inquiry.
Private groups are in a pilot. Ask us to set one up for your circle.
