Viewing Rentals

The Rentals page lists every rental in your account and gives you a calendar view of the current week.

Active and completed tabs

Rentals are split into two tabs:

• Active - rentals that are still in progress (pending, accepted, prepped, or picked up).
• Completed - rentals that are finished (returned), plus rejected and cancelled rentals.

Use the search bar to filter the list. You can search by customer name or by rental number (with or without the #, for example 1042).

Click any rental to open its detail panel, or click Add Rental to create one manually. See Creating rentals.

Reading the rentals table

Each row shows the customer (with the rental number), the rental dates, item count, daily total, status, and payment status. Two separate date columns let you sort by either end of the rental:

• Start - the first day of the rental (the pickup day).
• End - the last day of the rental (the return day).

Click any column header to sort by it. Start and End sort by date, while Status and Payment sort by stage rather than alphabetically - so Status runs in lifecycle order (pending, accepted, prepped, picked up, returned, then rejected/expired/cancelled) and Payment runs not invoiced, invoiced, paid.

Week at a Glance

At the top of the Rentals page, Week at a Glance shows all of your rentals for one week as a calendar. Click the section heading to collapse or expand it.

Each rental appears as a colored bar spanning its rental dates, labeled with its number and customer name. Bar color indicates status, matching the legend below the calendar:

• Pending
• Accepted
• Prepped
• Picked Up
• Returned

Rejected and cancelled rentals are not shown on the calendar. A rental that starts before or ends after the visible week is clipped at the edge so you can tell it continues.

Navigating weeks

Use the controls in the calendar header:

• The left and right arrows move to the previous or next week.
• This Week jumps back to the current week.

Click any bar to open that rental's details.
