Item and Bundle Pages

Every item and bundle in your catalog has its own permanent page with a stable URL. You can share these links directly with customers.

Item links

Each item's page lives at:

hotcrate.app/u/your-slug/item/item-slug

This URL is stable - it does not change when you edit the item's name, photos, or price. You can share it in emails, social posts, or quote documents and it will always point to the same item.

To copy an item's link:

1. Open the item in Inventory.
2. Click Copy link (or find the shareable link field).

Bundle links

Bundle pages follow the same pattern:

hotcrate.app/u/your-slug/bundle/bundle-id

Link previews

Item and bundle pages include Open Graph metadata so links unfurl in social media, messaging apps, and email clients - showing the item name and photo when someone pastes the link.

Search engine visibility (Pro)

By default, item and bundle pages are not indexed by search engines. On Pro, you can turn on Search engine visibility in Settings under Catalog. When enabled, your catalog, item pages, and bundle pages are allowed to appear in Google and other search results.

What visitors see on unlisted items

Unlisted items are not shown in the main catalog browse view, but anyone with the direct item link can view the page and add it to the Crate.
