Branding

Set your accent color and logo, and understand how branding works on Free vs Pro

Branding

You can customize how your catalog looks to customers by setting a logo and an accent color. These settings are in Settings under the Branding section.

Upload your business logo. It appears in the header of your public catalog and in any emails sent to customers.

Supported formats: PNG, JPG, WebP. Your logo is automatically compressed for web use.

Accent color

The accent color tints buttons, highlights, and interactive elements in your catalog and embed. You can choose from a set of preset swatches or enter a custom hex color.

Saving an accent color requires Pro. On the Free plan you can still pick colors in Settings to preview how they look, but the choice is not saved — it resets when you reload, and your catalog continues to use the default HotCrate accent. Upgrade to Pro to keep a color. If you set a custom accent color while on Pro and later downgrade to Free, your color choice is saved in the database but the catalog renders with the default accent until you upgrade again.

HotCrate branding

On the Free plan, your public catalog displays a small "Powered by HotCrate" badge. On Pro, you can remove it by turning on Remove branding in Settings. When branding is removed, your catalog and embed appear under your own brand.

Embed branding

Your embed can have its own theme (light or dark) and accent color, set independently of your catalog. These controls are in the Embed section of Settings.
